Is there a Virtual Option?
Absolutely! We can schedule a fully remote Zoom/Google Meet/Skype/FaceTime session. I have the latest technology and tools to interact with students and clearly display support materials.
How long is a typical tutoring session?
The first session generally lasts an hour for diagnostic testing and to establish a tutoring plan. Subsequent sessions can be anywhere from a 15 minute brush-up, to 30 minute maintenance, to an hour long introduction of new material. Each session is based completely on your needs.
What if I am sick and I need to cancel?
Please call me at 304-620-3106 to let me know you need to cancel and we will set up a time to reschedule. It's in everyone's interest that you are well during the sessions.

Can my parents stay with me during my tutoring session?
Absolutely. Parents are always welcome to observe the session or relax in another room during the session. If parents choose not to stay, a statement of progress will be prepared and sent home after the next session.
When do I pay for my tutoring session?
Payment is expected up front to cover the desired tutoring services.
How can I get a discount on tutoring?
Multi-hour packages are available in order to provide a discount to people who purchase more than just one hour at a time. Refer a friend. In addition, check out our specials page to see the latest additional discounts.
Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer/how many referral discounts I can receive?
No, there is no limit. You are welcome to refer as many people as you wish. You will receive $10 for each student referred.
When will I receive my referral discount?
You will receive a $10 discount for referring your friend as soon as you friend has their first PAID tutoring session.
How will I receive my referral discount?
Your referral discount will show on your next statement as a credit as soon as your friend has their first PAID tutoring session.
Why haven't I received my referral discount?
Your referral has not had their first session yet or your referral may have decided not to receive tutoring services. You are welcome to discuss that with the person that you referred.
